Steps
Day 1: Arrival at the airport
Take possession of your hybrid vehicle for a trip in line with sustainable development. Head to the east of the island, the greenest part of your trip, with a multitude of waterfalls and lush vegetation.
A stop at the Niagara waterfall in Sainte Suzanne is a must, with its 25-metre drop into a basin. The commune of Saint-André also offers a number of stops, including the Bois Rouge sugar mill and its Savanna distillery, the island's largest Tamil temple, Le Colosse, and the Mariamen temple.

Discover the Salazie cirque, taking the RD 48 to reach the village of Hell Bourg, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages.
Stop off at the Voile de la mariée waterfall on the way to the cirque.
Arrive in the village and take a walking tour of this peaceful haven.
Return to the coast in the afternoon. Possibility of visiting the Rivière du Mât distillery, one of Reunion's oldest and largest distilleries still in operation since 1886. Come and discover this distillery, a pioneer in sustainable development, and the secret behind the Grands Rhums de La Réunion.

RaftingDay 3: East Coast
A day dedicated to discovering the East, with various stops and activities at your own pace. At 9 a.m., you'll take a cooking class at La Sirandane, where you'll meet the owner and concoct a 100% local meal, followed by lunch in a convivial atmosphere.
After lunch, we head south along the famous route des laves, with stops at the church of Notre Dame des Blades, a small church spared by lava flows during the 1977 eruption.
Then on to the Anse des Cascades site for a photo break before crossing the lava road. You'll then cross the rugged south coast of the island to reach Saint-Pierre.

Day 4: Piton de la Fournaise
A very early start to discover the Volcano, one of the world's most active volcanoes. You'll cross the lunar landscape of the Plaine des Sables before arriving at the road's terminus at Pas de Bellecombe, and just ahead stands the majestic king, the Piton de la Fournaise. You have the option of touring the small Formica Léo crater (approx. 1 hr) or the Dolomieu crater (approx. 5 hrs). After the hike, and depending on the day and opening hours, you can visit the Cité du Volcan to learn more about the history of Réunion Island.

Volcano CityDay 5: Cirque de Cilaos
Discover Cilaos along the famous route des 400 virages, where a magnificent landscape unfolds at every bend. Discover this cirque, at the foot of the Piton des Neiges, the island's highest peak (3070m).
This day will be devoted to the many walks and hikes in the village, such as the old thermal baths, the chapel, etc. You can also take advantage of the Thermes de Cilaos, a spa renowned for the quality and richness of its water. You can also discover the village's handicrafts, with the Maison de la Broderie, and the Cilaos wine cellars.
Then back to the west coast, stopping off at Etang Salé beach, a famous black sand beach. You'll then make a number of stops before reaching your next accommodation, including the Saint-Louis chasm and the Saint-Leu blower.

Early departure from the hotel for the Piton Maïdo, a magnificent panorama of the cirque de Mafate (accessible only on foot).
Return to the coast, where you can relax on the island's most beautiful beaches (trou d'eau, l'hermitage, la saline), or take part in eco-responsible water sports such as diving or transparent kayaking.

A day to relax and enjoy the hotel spa or take a microlight flight. You can also visit a number of gardens and museums, including Kélonia and the Mascarin botanical conservatory.

Along the way, stop off at the Barachois and Rue de Paris, with its beautiful Creole colonial houses.
